This App works entirely locally on your device for all media conversion. It does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information of its own.

This Privacy Policy describes how MP3 Converter: Video to Audio ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our Android application. The App contains a banner advertisement served by Google AdMob, which may collect certain data as described below.

2. Information We Collect

All media conversion is performed entirely on your device using the FFmpeg library. No files, metadata, or user data are uploaded to any server by the App.

3. Permissions Used

The App requests the following device permissions solely to provide its core functionality:

READ_MEDIA_VIDEO / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

To access video files you select for conversion.

READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

To access audio files you select for conversion.

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

To save converted output files to your device storage. (Used on Android 9 and below only.)

INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

Used to check network connectivity and to load the Google AdMob banner advertisement. No personal conversion data is transmitted.

POST_NOTIFICATIONS

To show conversion progress and completion notifications.

FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC

To keep conversions running reliably while the App is in the background.

WAKE_LOCK

To prevent the device from sleeping during active file conversion.

No permission is used by the App itself to collect, track, or share your personal data.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

⚠ This App displays a banner advertisement powered by Google AdMob.

The App contains a single banner ad served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. This includes:

Device advertising ID for ad targeting and frequency capping
General location (country/region) derived from IP address
Device and OS information for ad compatibility
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) for ad performance

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

On your Android device, go to Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID

5. Third-Party Libraries

The App uses the following third-party libraries. Only Google AdMob may collect data; all others are used solely for local app functionality:

Google AdMob - Banner advertisement (may collect data as described above)
FFmpeg (mobile-ffmpeg) - Media file conversion engine (no data collection)
Glide - Image loading for file thumbnails (no data collection)
Lottie - UI animations (no data collection)
AndroidX / Jetpack libraries - Standard Android components (no data collection)

The App does NOT include:

Analytics SDKs (Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
Crash reporting services (Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.)
Any other advertising SDKs beyond AdMob

6. Data Storage

All files processed by the App are stored only on your device. We do not upload, sync, or back up your files to any remote server or cloud service.

Converted files are saved to your device local storage. You can delete them at any time using your device file manager. Any data collected by Google AdMob is governed by Google's own retention policies.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the AdMob advertising component, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

8. Data Security

We do not collect or transmit any personal data ourselves. All file processing happens locally on your device. For data handled by Google AdMob, please refer to Google's security practices at policies.google.com/privacy.

9. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share any user information with third parties. The only third-party data sharing that occurs is through Google AdMob for the purpose of serving the banner advertisement, as described in Section 4.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the Last Updated date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

11. Your Rights

You can opt out of personalized ads served by AdMob at any time via your Android device settings (Settings → Google → Ads) or at adssettings.google.com. You can uninstall the App at any time to remove all locally stored app data from your device.
